Kong Survivor Instinct

Intro:

What a great way to start the day! A new Monsterverse game, Kong Survivor Instinct, is on the way and it is going to release this year. I am surprisingly hopeful to this game from the last Kong game which will not be mentioned and also that game is in an entirely separate world than Monsterverse and some people seems to get confused about that a lot and so have your expectation set differently than that trash of a game.

The gameplay trailer with of course the gameplay, but also showcased the newest Titan in the Monsterverse, Titanus Abaddon and our favorite great ape, Kong. This game is more of like a 2D Platformer or Metroidvania, with some 3D action scenes happening from time to time. I do not have all the details but I have included some below.

Details:

A sudden Titan attack prompts massive evacuation efforts-but not everyone makes it to safety before the devastation ensues. Caught in the crossfire between battling monsters, many residents become trapped in the collapsing city—your only daughter among them!

Kong Survivor Instinct is a 2.5D action-adventure game that combines realistic platforming, challenging combat, and metroidvania-style exploration during a thrilling quest of survival worthy of the Monsterverse franchise.

TRUE MONSTERVERSE ADVENTURE:
Influence the Titans with Monarch tech and use their enormous strength to your advantage as you navigate a treacherous maze of collapsing buildings, toxic leaks, and raging fires. Scavenge for resources, weapons, and tools to solve environmental puzzles and defend yourself against both human and monster enemies.

FACE THE LEGENDARY KONG
Explore and survive as you encounter Kong in all his majestic glory, face the formidable Abaddon, and confront other new and returning superspecies and Titans! Whether you scavenge through half-destroyed buildings or fight off mercenaries, these enormous monsters are nearby, directly or indirectly impacting your gameplay. Though the Titans pose a lethal threat, you can – and must – influence their behavior with the ORCA Σ, a new prototype inspired by Monarch’s technology.

ALAN JONAH RETURNS
Discover an official Monsterverse story set shortly after the events of Godzilla vs. Kong. Stand your ground against the Hyenas, a mercenary group led by Alan Jonah. Reemerging after the events of Godzilla: King of the Monsters, the former eco-terrorist leader returns in Kong Survivor Instinct with a new villainous scheme.

A FATHER’S MISSION TO RESCUE HIS DAUGHTER
Take on the role of David, an oil rig worker braving a crumbling city to find your only child, Stacy. Make your way through the districts while encountering fellow survivors taking shelter among the rubble, mourning their loved ones or on the verge of giving up hope. Feel the awe-inspiring terror Titans bring upon a city through the eyes of a father desperate to find his daughter!

While these are the only details I was able to find but they are missing one more Titan that is going to make and that is none other than Titanus Tiamat. It seems like Tiamat is getting a lot of screentime with the appearance in Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, as well as comic books, Godzilla Dominion, Justice League Vs. Godzilla Vs. Kong as well as Monarch Declassified.

It seems Tiamat is quite popular with the Monsterverse lore team. Not just that, there will be even more new Superspecies and I cannot wait for what that maybe. No wonder I am so excited for this game, and even the visual aesthetic is pretty good. I wonder where is Abaddon attacking and also how does Kong get here or when does this take place after Godzilla Vs. Kong and Godzilla x Kong. I have so many questions and let me know of your questions as well.

Monsters:

My Thoughts:

To be honest, I am also a little concerned about this game a little bit. With the bad rap that came before this game which will not be mentioned, people may not be too excited but what I want to let everyone know is that give this game a chance, because not only this game adds new lore and expands the Monsterverse, but the support you show to this game would also mean more Monsterverse games in the future.

The more we support the Monsterverse, as well as express our wants from this universe, we will get them. If you don’t ask or say your wants, how will you get them. The game goes back to the horror and dystopian roots with it’s visual aesthetic like Godzilla 2014 as many people asked and I do not mind that. There would be no Monarch: Legacy of Monsters if we did not ask for it.

Sure, platformers are not my kind of deal either but my desire to see new monsters will come first before my skill issue for these kinds of games. So, all I will have to say is to definitely buy the game and show my support. That is my final word! There is another mobile game coming out and I will share my thoughts about it when the game is released and thank you again to everyone who comes to read my blogs. See you again next time.
