With the recent news of the upcoming 2025 summer film, Jurassic World Rebirth, Mattel came with a whole host of new action figures for toyline which might as well appear as soon as late 2024 or early 2025. And for that, to get you guys ready, I decided to list down the species figures that might come soon.
Do note that the list is not completed but I will update the list when I get more info. Without further a do, let’s check out the list. Before we move on, this list is no longer a rumor because many of the figures are already revealed and ready to be released soon, so keep your eyes peeled and maybe send one figure my way if you can, just joking but let’s take a look at the list!
Mini Figure:
No reveals yet but I will update it as soon as I get any news on it!
Human Pack:
- Darius & Baryonyx Peril Pack
Danger Pack / Invasion Pack:
- Dimetrodon (Repack)
- Dsungaripterus
- Jakapil
- Lophostropheus
- Farlowichnus
- Guemesia
- Hypsilophodon
- Armadillosuchus
- Baby Triceratops
- Coelophysis Vs. Dryosaurus
- Monolophosaurus
Also, something that I have noticed is that though they are part of Jurassic World Rebirth toyline or year, they are carrying the Jurassic World Chaos Theory subtitle in place of the film’s title so this is still not the film toyline but it is gonna be revealed soon enough.
For the ones shown thus far, I am really loving the Lophostropheus and Jakapil. It is at least nice to see that Dsungaripterus has a new color scheme unlike Dimetrodon which is a straight up repaint of the Jurassic World Dominion Dimetrodon release which is super disappointing, the least Mattel could have done was to change the colors. So yeah!! At the very least we are getting some new species in the line and that is something to be happy about! I love how Mattel always sprinkles in some new species!
Strike Attack / Combat Attack:
- Herrerasaurus (Repack)
- Huayangosaurus
- Pyroraptor
- Thapunngaka
- Alioramus
- Cearadactylus
- Dilophosaurus
- Velociraptor
No reveals yet but I will update it as soon as I get any news on it! There are some pics floating around but I am waiting for the official photo reveal by Mattel.
Wild Roar / Fearsome Roar:
- Ceratosuchops
- Kentrosaurus
- Kryptops
- Pteranodon
- Maiasaura
- Nasutoceratops
- Baryonyx
- Utahraptor
- Cryolophosaurus
- Euoplocephalus
- Lambeosaurus
- Nanuqsaurus
Okay…where do we start and I mean like look at the list!! This is huge! Why are we getting so many releases next year? This is so crazy and not just that but look at the number of new species on there. We got Ceratosuchops, Kryptops, Maiasaura, Utahraptor, Euoplocephalus, Lambeosaurus, & Nanuqsaurus before GTA 6.
Sorry for the low brow humor but we are getting 7 new species out of 12 species. I am also gonna guess that the repeat species will also have new color schemes as well like the Kentrosaurus & Pteranodon. I cannot wait to get the figures of new species in hand and also, remember that Kryptops was mini-figure, now it is getting a full-fledged figure. Mattel dropping some Subtle Foreshadowing. This is going to be one crazy year!
Gigantic Tracker / Gigantic Hunter:
- Styxosaurus
- Suchomimus
- Tyrannotitan
- Eotriceratops
- Saltasaurus
- Torvosaurus
Almost all the dinosaurs listed here are new species, except for Suchomimus but I also guess it does not count because this is a new mold of Suchomimus, unlike the 2018 & 2019 version. I will have to make so many more species profile for the dinosaurs and prehistoric reptiles that are getting figure releases. Like how many people know about Eotriceratops or Saltasaurus!! I am glad that Mattel recognizes some obscure species to put in the line and this year is going to be such an exciting year for collecting and I really need to start saving up some funds for this!!
Large Dinosaur:
- Rebirth Villain Dino
- Mosasaurus
- Slash N’ Roar Therizinosaurus
- Destroy N’ Dominate Tyrannosaurus Rex
Okay, usually the big dinosaur figure releases are not that many as, you know, they take up space on the shelves because they are big but I did not expect Therizinosaurus to make a come back but not in the way one would think. Therizinosaurus first made the appearance in the film, Jurassic World: Dominion but this time, it is getting a new release in the line of Chaos Theory which is exciting because that sort of means that Therizinosaurus will probably make an appearance in Season 3 of Chaos Theory which also means, the Nublar 5 will be traveling to Italy’s Biosyn Sanctuary as that is the only place we have seen with a Therizinosaurus in it.
This is a whole lot of information from a single image of an action figure but that is just how my mind works. And of course, we have your Tyrannosaurus Rex and Mosasaurus and I am very intrigued about the new Villain Dinosaur from Rebirth film. I do hope the Mosasaurus figure we do end up getting has, at the very least, a different color scheme.
Vehicles and Playsets:
No info as of yet but be sure to come here for any updates!!
Legacy Collection Reimagined:
I am probably guessing no announcements until 2024 ends and fingers crossed for what we could get for next year!!
Ultimate Damage:
- Indoraptor
- Scorpius Rex
We are getting the Hybrid Dinosaurs back for another round but this time, they look more refined, majestic and menacing with their Ultimate Damage. Recently, we did get a new Indoraptor, it is quite unexpected to see Scorpius Rex to get some new love. This Hybrid Dinosaur appeared in the Season 3 of Camp Cretaceous and was a huge hit among the fans and we surely did get some figures back in 2021 but that was about it until now! I cannot wait to see what comes out in this Ultimate Damage line!
Hammond Collection:
- Atrociraptor ‘Ghost’ (Jurassic World: Dominion)
- Baby Triceratops (Jurassic World)
- Scutosaurus
- Stygimoloch (Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom)
- Allosaurus (Jurassic World: Battle at Big Rock)
Hmm… It is an alright list but I feel like the list is missing some pizzazz, something to spice things up but it is not bad for the moment. It is a bit disheartening to see that the medium-sized dinosaur releases have stopped and there are so many more that are left. I probably guess that Mattel wants to release the medium-large dinosaurs as fast as they can because there are not that many anyway but I do hope to see more from the Hammond Collection.
